Staying on the same theme of sports t shirts, this one is for those passionate about kickboxing!
Like I was saying in the last post, kickboxing is one of the main 3 martial arts, in my opinion!
It’s very useful in a real world confrontation! However, like most martial arts, it does have it’s weaknesses!
Still, kickboxing is awesome!
If you are interested in buying this t shirt, you can do so on Amazon here: Kickboxing Shirt
If you like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, then you’ll love this funny brazilian jiu jitsu t shirt
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective martial arts!
By effective, I mean martial arts which will help you in a real life fighting situation!
In my opinion, based on watching and practicing mixed martial arts (essentially fighting with no rules), I think the 3 most effective martial arts are, in no particular order:
Mixed martial arts exposed many of those “fake” martial arts, which are ineffective in actual real world fights!
However, if you are a fighter, then you have to practice these 3 martial arts!
You have to learn the ground fighting and practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
You have to learn the stand up fighting and practice kickboxing!
And you have to be competent at the transition between ground fighting and stand up fighting, so you can be the one deciding where the fight will take place. And that’s where the wrestling comes in!
Anyway, enough rambling, click on the link at the beginning of the post to buy this brazilian jiu jitsu tshirt!
Those free hugs t shirts have been popular for a while! And why not? Who doesn’t like hugs, right? Haha!
This a clever twist on those shirts:
The design is nothing special, but I think it’s the idea that’s very clever!
Wrestling is great! It has been around for thousands of years and it’s one of the ultimate competitions between men, and one of the earliest methods of competing!
Probably other than straight up fighting!
But between friends, the most common way to compete was likely some form of wrestling!
If you like this t shirt and would like to buy it, then you can pick it up on Amazon: Wrestling T shirt Free Hugs
This one is not very new, as it’s been around for a while now!
But it’s still a pretty good design which will get some laughs on the streets or in the gym!

So this t-shirt is perfect for my sister!
I am more a fan of powerlifting than weightlifting, but my sister is very passionate about weightlifting!
I don’t mean just lifting weights, but specifically olympic weightlifting the sport!
This is the sport with the 2 competition lifts being the snatch and the clean and jerk!
Yeah, so for her birthday in a few months, she will get this Olympic Weightlifting T-shirt!
I love deadlifts!
Workout out in the gym has been a passion of mine for the past 5 years, and it has been great to me!
It has given me strength in regard to physical strength and mental strength!
It has given me confidence, willpower and motivation to pursue my life’s goals!
While most people prefer training mostly their upper body, I actually prefer training legs more!
It’s because training legs makes me feel very strong!
I cycled for most of my life, so my legs are strong!
And when I do deadlifts, I feel super strong as I can move a lot of weight!
I recently managed to lift 400lbs on the deadlift, so while loving this exercise, I came across this deadlifts and chill t-shirt!
So I had to get it! It’s a humorous twist on the popular phrase “netflix and chill” so I thought it was great!
First of all, what is design?
Well, according to Wikipedia: and their definition of design “Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object, system or measurable human interaction (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams, and sewing patterns).
When looking at graphic design, we get a bit of a different definition: “Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving using one or more of typography, photography and illustration”
Common uses of graphic design include corporate design (logos and branding), editorial design (magazines, newspapers and books), wayfinding or environmental design, advertising, web design, communication design, product packaging and signage.
Lately there has been a rise in graphic design being used for t-shirts and other custom print products.
The industry of custom design has been very small until about 10 years ago, but over the past 10 years, due to the rise on online shopping, there has been a boost in the custom print industry! This has been because the internet gave scale to the very small niche hobbies and niche designs which can be created on custom products!
The skills required to be a successful graphic designer have been changing over the past few years. While in the past, the main tool used was a pencil, graphic designers have been having to adapt and start using software like Photoshop and Illustrator.
For the past 5 years, the custom printing industry has been booming!
If you scroll through your Facebook feed, you will probably stumble upon some advertisements of fancy t-shirts which target your hobbies and interests!
This has been in line with the improved economy, as the recession is truly over and consumer spending and discretionary income has increased!
This has also been in line with the rise on online shopping, and many of these fancy designs have been started by online start-ups!
According to Wikipedia , the most common form of commercial t-shirt printing is screen printing. The design is separated into individual colors and then water based inks or plastisol is applied to the shirts using mesh screens which limits the areas where ink is deposited!
A guide to screen printing t-shirts can be found in the YouTube video below:
There are also been other methods that are becoming quite common, such a heat transfer vinyl, dye sublimation printing, and direct to garmet (DTG) printing!
Now the custom printing industry has expanded to many other product such as hats, hoodies, yoga pants and even Nike shoes!
Here at flicker design works, we love custom made designs, so we will share some our favourite designs in the future weeks and months!
